  • The After School Literacy project is an exciting new project at the University of Kansas Center for Research on Learning, exploring ways literacy instruction can be incorporated into out-of-school activities.

  • * These materials are provided to supplement live Strategic Tutoring professional development at the Boys and Girls Clubs of America's pilot study sites.

    This overview will introduce you to a new vision of the tutoring process--one in which the tutor not only helps the student complete and understand the immediate assignment but also teaches the student the strategies required to complete similar tasks in the future.
